About The Event
Jharnadhara is a 57 year old institution, created with the vision of inculcating love and reverence towards the performing arts among its audience.
Each year, Jharnadhara organizes a cultural event to celebrate music and other performing
arts of our nation. The theme for this year is centered around SONGS OF NATIONALISM. Jharnadhara will be celebrating 79 YEARS OF INDIAN INDEPENDENCE AND 150 YEARS OF VANDE MATARAM. The concert will be a tribute to the music which has inspired and continues to inspire all Indians irrespective of their background.
Jharnadhara will be presenting Bengali and Hindi songs, including songs from Bollywood movies which celebrate the spirit of Nationalism.
