A world-class, experiential and interactive children’s museum with 7 floors of exhibitions, programs, and activities for children & grown-ups!
MuSo is dedicated to inspiring, enabling, and empowering children and young people to solve the world’s most pressing problems, today.
Programs and Events
MuSo will be a dynamic, always-active place with hundreds of events and programs a year. (In museum terms, a program is a designed and facilitated workshop, class, or activity that people actively participate in. For example, a 3D printing workshop in our Make Lab. An event is something like a performance, film, or lecture that may still have participatory, hands-on elements to it.)
Programming will be a combination of content and skill-based workshops and skill-building activities (both hard and soft skills) that are designed to create a growth mindset in kids.
Some of our workshops bring the SDGs in focus for example, ‘Gala at the Mangroves’, which connects fashion and couture to mangrove conservation.
Skill-building workshops teach problem-solving, teamwork, and hands-on expertise. For example, our Arduino workshop challenges children to use microprocessors and digital sensors to build water-alarm systems for their plants.
Design-challenge workshops provoke a child’s imagination, curiosity, and risk-taking skills. For example we ask children to convert an ancient fire striker for a survivalist in 2083.
