About The Event
What makes a neighbourhood feel like home isn`t only where we live. It`s also the small ways people care for one another.
An intimate guided letter-writing experience exploring belonging, emotional care, and the small ways strangers can hold space for one another.
For the duration of the experience, the people gathered in the room become neighbours.
Participants begin with a playful Spoken Letter, exchanging a compliment and one completely random thing about their day to loosen the room and make meeting a stranger feel easy.
They then set an intention for what they would like their words to offer someone that day: perhaps warmth, hope, courage, reassurance, belonging, joy, or kindness.
From that intention, each person writes and decorates a handwritten letter, without knowing who in the room will eventually receive it.
At the end, the letters are brought together and exchanged at random.
