Puuluup is an Estonian nu-folk duo formed by Ramo Teder and Marko Veisson, blending traditional folk with world music, underground and pop influences. At the heart of their sound is the hiiu kannel, an ancient bowed lyre transformed through effects, looping and unconventional playing techniques. Their music creates hypnotic, dance-driven grooves with dark, cinematic textures, bringing together tradition and modern experimentation.
