About The Event
An evening of music, gratitude and collective wellbeing. AarogyaSevak and Donor Appreciation Event
A Billion Hopes and AarogyaSeva initiative in partnership with Surya Global Music Academy
Date: October 23, 2026
Venue: Chowdiah Memorial Hall, Bengaluru
Occasion: World Mental Health Month
Background and rationale
Mental health is fundamental to individual wellbeing, family stability, and a compassionate society. Yet, the people who work tirelessly to support mental health, mental health professionals, doctors, nurses, counsellors, social workers, caregivers, volunteers, and donor often receive limited recognition for their contributions.
Music can create a shared space for reflection, emotional expression, connection, and hope. Music for Mental Healthbrings these ideas together through a special musical evening dedicated to appreciating the people and institutions working to improve mental health and wellbeing.
Organised as a donor appreciation and community engagement event, the evening will honour those who give their time, expertise, compassion, and resources to support individuals and families affected by mental health challenges.
Objectives
Recognise and appreciate healthcare providers, mental health professionals, caregivers, volunteers, and donors.
