He was a groundbreaking singer, composer, arranger, and a brilliant actor with skilled spontaneity being the true torch bearer carrying the legacy of his father Late Sri Mysuru Ananthaswamy, the highly celebrated Sugama Sangeetha virtuoso from Karnataka.
The aspiring singers he tutored and trained in his days, to name a few Divya Raghavan, Pallavi M D, Supriya Acharya, Mangala Ravi, Ravi Murur, Ananya Bhat, Praveen - Pradeep, Nithin R Shastry, Sri Harsha to name a few have achieved great feats today in the music circuit worldwide.
In his fond memory, this event is being organised where his music and contribution to art will once again be brought to life on stage.
This event will not only be a celebration of Raju's music from Sugamana Sangeetha, Cinema and Television but will also bring together elements of theatre and music composed by him for plays at NATANA - a school of drama founded by Sri Mandya Ramesh.
