About The Event
Madam X
Madam X has spent the last decade reshaping the UK underground as a genre-defying DJ and visionary behind her KAIZEN imprint. Driven by a fierce desire to innovate and a passion for the off-kilter, she’s earned her place as one of the most respected figures in contemporary club music.
Garnering support from the likes of Jamie XX, Laurent Garnier, and James Blake, with lead track Hoodlum FC rapidly infiltrating playlists & festival sets, few DJs can claim such a monumental response to a debut. Rooted in the pressure of Dubstep & the propulsion of Techno, her bass-driven sets are a masterclass in storytelling, propelled by purposeful intent, sub-heavy drums, and raw energy.
Through her KAIZEN label and clubnight, she’s helped elevate some of the most exciting, forward-thinking voices in club music, with releases from the likes of Walton, Biome and Cartridge, earning critical acclaim. With a six-year residency on NTS, a tenure on BBC Radio 1, and her monthly show on Athens’ Stegi Radio, when she’s not hosting radio, Madam X tours globally as one of the world’s most in-demand DJs. From releasing vinyl to hosting genre-defying sets that refuse to follow any blueprint, Madam X continues to push the boundaries of what club music can be.

Raka Ashok
Raka Ashok is a Bangalore-based DJ, producer and curator with over a decade in India’s independent club circuit. His approach draws on hip-hop’s rhythmic invention and UK soundsystem pressure, moving between garage, breaks, electro and drum & bass with a keen ear for swing and off-centre selections.
That attention to rhythm carries into his productions, where tightly programmed drums, intricate percussion and unexpected samples connect his South Indian roots with contemporary bass music. Behind the decks, he brings range and a willingness to take a room somewhere unfamiliar.
His appearances include Boiler Room Bangalore and guest mixes on Rinse FM, alongside bills shared with Daddy G of Massive Attack (UK), EPROM (US), Om Unit (UK), Kutmah (BER), Moresounds (FR), Troyboi (UK), Earl Gateshead (UK), Bondax (UK), Dengue Dengue Dengue (Peru), Denham Audio (UK), Matteo/Chineseman (FR), DJ Godfather (US), Jay Carder (UK), Arthi Nachiappan (UK), Deft (UK), Jubilee (US), Papa Nugs (UK), Chloe Robinson (UK), Bakey & Breaka (UK), Papa Nugs (UK), Hamdi (UK) and Opium Hum (BER) to name a few.
Collaborations with fellow artists, like the acclaimed "Raaja Beats" EP with Toronto's Malfnktion, showcase Raka's ability to traverse cultural boundaries and push the envelope of sound, even resulting in a feature on Colors Studios and a placement in the Tamil movie POR directed by Bejoy Nambiar.
