SAMAAGATI 2027- An Ensemble of Instrumental Music
SAMAAGATI 2027 is an extraordinary celebration of Indian instrumental music, bringing together some of the country’s most distinguished and accomplished instrumentalists on one stage.
A confluence of rhythm, melody and tradition, the concert brings together the timeless sounds of the Tabla, Mridangam, Veena, Ghatam, Flute and Percussion, creating an immersive musical experience that transcends genres and generations.
The ensemble features Ustad Fazal Qureshi on Tabla, Padma Shri Awardee Dr. Thiruvarur Bakthavathsalam on Mridangam, Rajhesh Vaidhya on Veena, Kalaimamani Vaikom R. Gopalakrishnan on Ghatam, Pravin Godkhindi on Flute and Nitish Ranadive on Percussion.
SAMAAGATI—meaning coming together or confluence—captures the very essence of this unique concert: diverse musical traditions coming together in harmony, improvisation and rhythmic brilliance.
