Conceived and choreographed by Sanskruti Balgude, this dance theatre explores Krishna as a living voice for our times, reflecting on love, duty and choice through expressive movement, vivid storytelling, and contemporary music.
Krishna belongs as much to the questions of human life as he does to mythology, offering insight into love, conflict, choice, and duty with a wisdom that transcends time.
Yuggay Creation’s ‘Sambhavami Yugey Yugey’ is a Marathi dance drama rooted in Krishna Neeti, where Krishna himself addresses the audience not just as a distant deity but as a thinking, questioning, and guiding presence. Rather than retelling familiar myths, the production explores Krishna as a living philosophy, a consciousness that continues to speak to the complexities of being human.
Blending classical Indian dance forms with contemporary music, narration, and expressive storytelling, the production preserves its spiritual heart while resonating with a modern audience. Conceived, choreographed, and directed by Marathi actor Sanskruti Balgude, with script and lyrics by Mandar Cholkar and Hrishikesh Vidar and music by Tanmay Bhide and Ruturaj Sathe, the work features Sumeet Raghavan as the voice of Krishna, supported by a cast of leading singers and voice artists.
