Step into the soulful world of Indian classical music with Sangeet Baithak by Baba School of Music, Varanasi.
This intimate 90-minute musical evening is designed for listeners who want to experience the depth, emotion and spiritual beauty of Hindustani music in a close baithak setting. The performance includes traditional forms such as Kajri, Thumri, Chaiti and devotional songs that carry the cultural fragrance of Banaras and the emotional depth of Indian classical music.
Unlike a large concert hall performance, this baithak is limited to only 15 guests, allowing the audience to sit close to the artists and experience the music in a personal, meditative and immersive way.
The evening is ideal for music lovers, travellers, spiritual seekers, students of Indian classical music and anyone who wants to experience the living musical tradition of Varanasi.
Baba School of Music has been teaching and preserving Indian classical music in Varanasi since 1995. Through Sangeet Baithak, we invite you to experience music not only as performance, but as prayer, emotion and inner stillness.
