Sufi Qawwali Mehfil, Jaipur
One of Once Upon India's most loved and grandest formats - the Sufi Qawwali Mehfil - comes to Jaipur for the very first time!
Fifteen qawwals take the stage together, in pristine white, heads covered, voices rising as one. They sing the qawwalis everyone knows, and the ones fewer have heard, from Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and other revered names in the tradition. It's an experience beyond words... one that shifts the room, and takes you somewhere else entirely.

About the Troupe
Trained under A.R. Rahman at his KM Music Conservatory in Chennai, the KM Sufi Ensemble has carried their craft to stages across the world - and everywhere they go, they carry something deeper than just the music.
Theirs is a qawwali rooted in true understanding of the form - its history, its devotion, its purpose. Led by Munna Ji, the AR Rahman-hand-picked seasoned artist who's written qawwalis with the legend, they don't just perform qawwali... they live it, and pull you into that same state of surrender, one verse at a time.
