Kishore Kumar (4 August 1929 – 13 October 1987) was an Indian playback singer, musician, and actor. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest, most influential, and dynamic singers in the history of Indian music. Kishore Kumar was one of the most popular singers in the Indian subcontinent, notable for his yodeling and his ability to sing songs in different voices. He sang across various genres, and some of his rarer compositions, now considered classics, were lost to time. In 2013, Kishore Kumar was voted "The Most Popular Male Playback Singer" in a Filmfare poll.
Remembering Kishore Kumar on his 39th death anniversary, Darshan Creations has scheduled the musical evening "Super Hits of Kishore Kumar," a solo live concert by Rajessh Iyer, on Friday, 9th October 2026, at 8:30 PM, at Prabodhankar Thackeray Auditorium, Borivali (West), Mumbai.
To make this show memorable, versatile co-singers Mona Kamat, Aarohi Prabhudesai, and Kailash Sharma will perform alongside well-known compere RJ Amit and renowned music arranger Pankaj Dhopavkar, backed by 10 musicians. The event is organised by Sameer Bapardekar (Darshan Creations).
