Tote Bag Painting is the most usable thing we make. You start with a blank cotton canvas tote and turn it into something you will actually carry, using fabric paints that stay bright and flexible on cloth. It is relaxed, forgiving and genuinely fun, and there is no way to get it wrong.
Our instructor takes you through the whole process: planning your design so it sits well on the bag, choosing colours that work together, applying paint in thin even layers so it does not bleed or crack, and adding the outlines and details that make a design look finished rather than flat. Templates and stencils are on hand if you would rather not draw freehand, and you work at your own pace throughout.

WHY PEOPLE BOOK THIS ONE
Because you will use it. Most craft workshops send you home with something for a shelf. This one sends you home with a bag you carry to work, to the market, on holiday. It is also one of the easiest workshops to do with zero artistic confidence, which is why it works so well with friends.
WHO IT IS FOR
Complete beginners are welcome. No drawing ability needed. Good for solo bookings, friends, couples, and parent and child pairs.

- We work with fabric paint, which is permanent on clothing. Wear something you do not mind marking
