Paint a glass you will still be pouring into years from now.
Wine Glass Painting is small, precise and quietly addictive. You start with a clean stemmed glass and paint directly onto the curved surface, working around the bowl and down the stem. Florals, vines, geometry, colour blocks. Glass takes paint differently to canvas, and watching a design wrap around something transparent is the whole appeal.
Our instructor takes you through the technique properly: preparing and degreasing the glass so paint actually bonds to it, working in thin even layers that build opacity without peeling, painting on a curved surface without smudging what you have already done, and finishing the stem and base cleanly. Templates and design references are on hand if you would rather not draw freehand.

IMPORTANT: BEFORE YOU DRINK FROM IT
Glass paint needs 21 days to cure fully. Your glass goes home with you on the day, but it should not be washed or used for drinking until it has finished curing. We will give you full care instructions at the end of the session.
We also leave the rim and the inside of the bowl completely unpainted. Glass paint is not food safe, so nothing goes anywhere your lips will touch. This is standard practice and it does not limit the design at all.
WHY PEOPLE BOOK THIS ONE
Because it is the most giftable thing we make. A painted glass is small, personal and genuinely useful, and a pair of them is one of the better wedding, anniversary or housewarming presents going. It is also the most detailed workshop on our list, which makes it the one people are proudest of.
WHO IT IS FOR
Complete beginners are welcome. No drawing ability needed. The work is close and detailed, so it suits anyone who enjoys precision. Good for solo bookings, couples and small friend groups.
