About The Event
Your Story, Your Stage is a five day workshop with two modules, one on Writing and another on Performance/Acting. This five-day workshop will conclude with a final showcase.
Module 1: Write Stories Only You Can Tell , to be facilitated by Vijay Ashok Sharma. In this module you will-
1. Learn a unique approach to discover stories rooted in personal experience
2. Apply practical tools to structure, shape, and strengthen your stories
3. Work towards building your own perspective and finding your authentic writing voice
4. Have a good story, written by you, ready by the end of the workshop
Module 2: One Point Six Billion and Me, to be facilitated by Ajeet Singh Pallawat. In this module you will learn to-
1. Explore individual perspectives and experiences
2. Difference between re-living and re-creating
3. Developing authentic character choices
4. Cultivating self awareness and creative risk taking.
Duration and Schedule: Both modules will have sessions of 3 hours per day, which means a total of 6 hours per day if you sign up for both.
Writing module from 10 AM-1 PM and acting module from 1:30 to 4:30 PM.
Workshop Location: Starmakers Studio, Lajpat Nagar 2, Delhi
Selection criteria: Purely on first come first serve basis
