The debutant director Venu Udugula has managed to put together a film that stands out from the rest, so kudos to that. The music of the film, also by a debutant, Suresh Bobbili is good and blends well with the tale. Needi Naadi Oke Katha is an artistic approach to the cinema with a traditional screenplay technique of Dogme95. Brilliant performances by lead casting especially from Sree Vishnu and Devi Prasad adds strength to the film. This is undoubtedly his career-best performance. The film raises an important aspect of life and opens a new dimension too. The film indeed comes as an eye opener for many people in the society. You can give it a try for sure without any hesitations. ...Read full review

The idea is to make one realise to do what an individual feels happy to do rather than put up a show for society or parents and pretend to be something they are not. The message is delivered forcefully, at times and thats where the director falters. ...Read full review
`NNOK` is what happens when you tell the biopic of a failure as defined by the society. While the writing shows flashes of talent, the film needn`t have been a showreel of Sagar`s misery compounded by insults. Good performances are a plus. ...Read full review
