About the movie
Tapan, a migrant worker from Bengal, falls to his death at a construction site. His nephew Rudra tries to arrange the funeral. Without a Bengali priest, he settles for Chaavi, a tough, Tamil midwife, who moonlights as a funeral guide. Gradually, Rudra and Chaavi weave a fragile bond of kinship. Despite their differences, they want to make a life together, but something dark in their pasts hinders them.
