Kani Kusruti has played critically acclaimed roles in films like Kerala Cafe (2009), Cocktail (2010) and North 24 Kaatham (2013). She will soon be seen in a Kollywood film - Mysskin`s Pisasu. Kani is also featured in the recently released trailer of the film, in which Malayali actress Prayaga Martin plays the lead. The film belongs to the horror genre and is expected to hit screens soon. In 2018, she appeared alongside Krishnakumar and Bineesh Bastin in Mithran Naufaldeen's Malayalam romance drama Theekuchiyum Panithulliyum.
