Aval Peyar Thamizharasi
About the movie
This is the story of Jothi (Jai) and Thamizharasi (Nandhagi).
Thamizharasi`s grandfather travels village to village to performing puppet shows and making ends meet.
He comes to Tirunelveli, where a rich man Chelladurai (Theodre Baskaran) supports them because his grandson, Jothi, likes the art.
Thamizharasi gets admission in a college in Pune, but she and Jothi have developed an intimiacy for each other. Jothi ends up raping her as he is not able to leave her.
This becomes a turning point after which Jothi is sent away from the village.
He returns years later to find Thamizharasi nowhere. Will ever find her? Will he be able to make up for his mistakes?
