About the movie
Street Life tells the story of Chennamma, a rag picker living in a roadside hut with her husband, Muniya, and their five-year-old son, Babu. With Babu born deaf and mute and her husband's struggles with alcohol and petty theft, Chennamma takes on the immense burden of the family. Determined to help her son, she works tirelessly to afford his schooling and medical expenses. The film follows a mother's relentless quest to give her son a voice and the ability to hear, no matter the cost.
