SYNOPSIS
Krishna alias Krish (N. T. Rama Rao Jr.) is in love with Indu (Samantha Ruth Prabhu), who has a friend Bhoomi (Kajal Aggarwal). Bhoomi`s father Bhaanu Prasad (Prakash Raj) wants her to marry Ajay, who is a rowdy.
To save her from the marriage, her grand father Durga Prasad (Kota Srinivasa Rao) tells everyone that she has fallen in love with someone in the city. Now Bhoomi has to bring her lover to her home. Thus Indu sends Krish as Bhoomi`s lover just to let her escape the wedding situation.
The rest is how their lie leads them into a series of situations that ultimately changes the course of their lives.

Brindavanam is a fun film overall. The comedy, though not intellectually superior to the best you may have seen, is well-executed. Romance does not play much of a role in the plot, since the theme is the nitty-gritties of how Krish maneuvers his way into a hostile family. It is the regular hero-playing-God kind of movie, with Krish making sweeping changes in people, uniting entire warring villages, and teaching hateful clans how to love. ...Read full review
