SYNOPSIS
Colossal traces the story of Gloria (Anne Hathaway) , an ordinary woman who, after losing her job and being kicked out of her apartment by her boyfriend, is forced to leave her life in New York and move back to her hometown. When news reports surface that a giant creature is destroying Seoul, Korea, Gloria gradually comes to the realization that she is somehow connected to this far-off phenomenon. As events begin to spin out of control, Gloria must determine why her seemingly insignificant existence has such a colossal effect on the fate of the world.

We all know someone like Gloria. She arrives, at a fair estimate, 15 minutes late to every appointment. 30, if its professional. She takes a stifled yawn as a sign to break out that joke shes wanted to tell all evening, and halfhearted laughter as encouragement to tell another one. Used to being excused for her irresponsible drunk behaviour, Gloria (Anne Hathaway) is in for a rude shock when her live-in boyfriend Tim (Dan Stevens) throws her out of his posh Manhattan apartment, hoping she gets her act together.
