About the movie
Dhonima follows the heartwarming tale of a middle-aged housemaid Dhanam and her partially deaf son, Dravid. While she works tirelessly to save for his surgery, her drunkard husband offers no support. However, their lives take an unexpected turn when she brings home a puppy she finds on her way back from work. The crux of the movie is how the dog`s presence brings unexpected and life-changing moments to their struggling family.
