About the movie
The movie is a remake of Tamil hit Natpukkaga directed by K.S. Ravikumar himself which starred Sarath Kumar and Simran Bagga in the lead roles.
This is a story of two friends, one of them is the head of the village (wodeyar - Ambrish) and the other is a servant (Muthaiah - Vishnuvardhan) in his house. To save his wodeyar's prestige, Muthaiah takes the blame for a murder that leads him to 15 years imprisonment. He also takes an oath from his Wodeyar that he wont disclose the truth to anyone.
However, Wodeyar's daughter blames Muthaiah for the rift created within the family and vows to take revenge. She fools Muthaiah's son Chikkaiah (Vishnuvardhan) into believing that she loved him. However, her marriage is fixed with Wodeyar's sister's brother-in-law, Gurudutt. The rest is how Muthaiah and Chikkaiah prevent the marriage and the 15 years old truth is finally revealed.
