The movie opens with a flashback sequence where the lead actors (SRK and Varun) are in their late twenties. Both Raj (SRK) and Meera (Kajol) are getting united after 15 years. But they both are from opposite gangster families. Their fathers Vinod Khanna and Kabir Bedi shared an intense rivalry.
