Fodi Laishu Yaar is a very commonly used phrase amongst Gujaratis globally. The phrase generates sentiments of hope as well as gives comfort and strength to overcome any odd situation that anybody might face in their lives. Using the same phrase, a very young and dynamic writer, engineer by profession, Mr Vijay Chavda has beautifully penned down a story.
For the first time ever in Gujarati Cinema, Fodi Laishu Yaar presents a very young and fresh romance comedy movie based on engineering students life. The story revolves around 4 friends who also represents 4 major parts of Gujarat - Raj (Surat), Rahul ( Mehsana), Aditya (Saurashtra) and Jignesh (Ahmedabad).
The story covers all aspects of engineering students life such as Hostel Life, Campus Life, Lobby Life, Classroom Life, Canteen Life, Submission Life, Exam Life and Night Life. The story revolves around two central characters Raj and Simran. Its a cute love story of the duo. While Raj loves Simran, she does not like Raj. After completion of final examination, Raj, Rahul and Jignesh visit Saurashtra to attend wedding of Adityas sister. During their stay at Adityas place all 4 friends get into a major trouble.
How Raj, Rahul, Aditya and Jignesh get out of the trouble? How Raj manages to convince Simran? Will Simran say yes? Answer of all these questions make Fodi Laishu Yaar a complete family entertainer. The situation based, hilarious romantic comedy has lots of punch lines, funny scenes and witty dialogues to make it a complete roller coaster ride for the audience.
