Hello! Gandhe Sir narrates the story of the differences existing between Prof Anandrao Gandhe, the principal of Datar Behere College of Science, Commerce and Arts and Gangya Gangadhar Sawant, the new dance teacher on the college campus. The movie, based on the conflict between two generations, is termed as a black comedy with an ending that can be interpreted either as a comedy or as a tragedy.
