About the movie
When deep-in-debt Tyrone, the owner of the Honeydripper Lounge, sacks his singer Bertha Mae for the famous Guitar Sam, he hopes business will improve and announces a one night only special. Meanwhile, Sonny Blake with nothing but deams and a guitar in hand applies to play at Honeydripper, but is rejected by Tyrone. But as fate has it Guitar Sam fails to show up and Tyrone's one last chance to save the club may probably be Sonny.
