About the movie
In Hudugata, Ganesh is a lazy journalist who has been assigned to interview a sports personality in Kanyakumari. So he boards a bus to Kanyakumari where he accidentally meets Rekha in a burkha. He later learns that Rekha has run away from home to marry Rahul, a sportsman. On the long journey and through many incidents Ganesh finds that Rekha is being followed by a group of funny investigators and a rowdy gang. In trying to save the girl, Ganesh falls for her and eventually Rekha's father helps him to tie the knot with his daughter.
