About the movie
This film, based in the '50s, is about Bhaurao (Devashish Paranjpe), a mischievous seven-year-old whose mother and sister enroll him into a school to discipline him. The turning point of the story is when Bhaurao is humiliated by his heartless teacher Bhobdya master, and Bhaurao in turn hurls a stone at the master. The teacher is transferred from the school, and a new teacher takes his place. The movie is about the relationship this new teacher and Bhaurao share, and how the teacher brings out the genius in Bhaurao.
