About the movie
This is the love story of Praveen, a coolie working in a rice mill and Priya, his English teacher. Praveen is spotted by coach Beeresh (Kishore) who gives him the required training in the game of Kabaddi. When Praveen and Priya fall in love, her family is against the union. Praveen leaves the village only to return after three years. The rest is how he wins his love and plays in the national level without his coach's assistance.
