About the movie
It is the story of a couple who have settled in California. The grandmother of their child believes that the girl is born because of her prayers to the local spirit shrine back in India. But the girl's father dismisses this as superstition which leads to many emotional sequences that ultimately lead him to perform the bidding of the girl's grandmother.
