About the movie
Dayal Singh (Jackie Shroff) is a wealthy widower with acres of ancestral land and two sons, Aman (Arbaaz), a lawyer and Jigar (Sohail), a farmer. When a shrewd businessman, Sohan Seth, persuades villagers to sell their land for commercial purposes, he is met with resistance by Dayal Singh. In the process, Jigar is sentenced to five years of imprisonment. After he is released, he comes to his father who is bed ridden and paralysed and learns that Aman lives in the city and works for Sohan.
