About the movie
The story of the film surrounds a village girl who dreams of marrying a big city boy. But when her dream comes true, she realizes life is not as simple as she had imagined. The film makes the struggles of Meenakshi, the protagonist, synonymous to that of a river. A river whose ultimate motive is to meet the sea, has to go through lots of obstacles before she meets her destiny.
