The Trailer itself made it clear that `Mahanubhavudu` is a spiritual successor to `Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy`. Maruthi once again weaves comedy around his male lead`s quirkiness. In Maruthis Mahanubhavudu, there is a scene early in the film where Anand (Sharwanand) is dismayed that his colleague did not wash his hands after going to the restroom. He freaks out, and quite rightfully so. And in that state, he gets so irritated that he actually lands a punch on his colleague. ...Read full review
Maruthi begins the film with hero being taken to hospital operation room and from there the story begins. He narrates what happened before this incident. In the entire first half, we get to see Sharwanand`s issues with lack of cleanliness. He can`t control himself over anything that is not neat.
