Maisamma IPS
About the movie
At the temple of Jatara a child is born during the Katta Maisamma. The child is named Maisamma. hER parents die in a natural calamity. She is raised by her elder sister who is married to a petty goon played by the renowned Sayaji Shinde. He drags his wife into forced prostitution for nurturing his political ambitions and also has an evil eye on his sister-in-law, Maisamma. Fortunately, they both run away but fate has other plans in store. Maisamma's sister gets killed at a junction by his husband's cohorts. Maisamma escapes for good and becomes an IPS officer who lives for a sole aim which is to kill her sister's killers.
