About the movie
This is a story of a selfless love that Maari (Parvathi) develops for her cousin Thangarasu (Srikanth), set in a village somewhere between Rajapalayam and Sivakasi in southern Tamil Nadu. However, Thangarasu and his father are not in favor of the alliance within the blood relation and Maari is married to someone else. She always wishes for a happy married life for Thangarasu and forgives him for leaving her. However, when she finds out that he is not leading a happy married life, she is distraught.
