Massey Sahib
About the movie
Francis Massey works at the Deputy Commissioner's office in a tribal district in Central India (1929). He believes his Christian faith and English proficiency elevate him above other Indians, bringing him close to the colonial elite. Despite rising from humble beginnings, Massey remains free-spirited and improvisational. However, he struggles against the rigid system, holding onto the hope that Deputy Commissioner Adam Sahib will rescue him from his challenges.
