About the movie
Daanveer, a famously stingy but clever man, outwits a tricky uncle-nephew duo who try to fool him and earns their respect. When a priest demands a donation, Daanveer pretends to die to avoid paying, only for the priest to reveal himself as Lord Shiva. Praised for his cleverness, Daanveer is forgiven, lifts his miserliness, and vows to use his wealth for good, saving his wife and dedicating himself to charity.
