SYNOPSIS
Mr. Kabaadi is a romantic comedy that revolves around caste struggle. It is based on the life of Mr.Kallu Kabaadiwala a.k.a KK who used to be a Kabaadiwala. When he becomes rich, he starts his own family business of Public Toilets.

A film starring the late Om Puri getting released is not a rarity these days because the great actor was prolific when it came to doing films. But one may consider this one special because it`s directed by his ex-wife, Seema Kapoor. The film starts off amidst a dumping yard with the introduction of all the lead characters. Topping the list is Suhaag Raat Surma waala (the late Om Puri), Kallu (Annu Kapoor), his wife (Sarika) and their children. For most, a reason to catch this one would be that it happens to be late Om Puri`s last release. Directed by ex-wife Seema Kapoor, one would imagine this to be a cinematic shradhranjali of sorts to the actor who has with much enthusiasm and finesse essayed a range of roles in Hindi and Punjabi cinema. But sadly, under the guise of being a satire on our classist society and promising to pack in the noble message of defecating only inside a shauchalaya, this one actually takes a steaming dump on your better sense.
