About the movie
Naanum Koteeswaran is the Tamil version of the Golden Globe awards winner, and 8 Oscars, Slumdog Millionaire. It is a touching account of a street kid. British director Danny Boyle's underdog story is about an impoverished kid Jamal Malik who gets a chance to contest the game show ''Who Wants to be a Millionaire?''. In flashbacks, the movie reveals the story of his life in the slums, the struggles, his love, his near-death experience, and how he knows the answers to all of the 'Millionaire' questions.
