About the movie
Nam Naadu is a story of an honest government office clerk, Durai (M.G.R). His brother, Muthaiah (T.K.Bhagavathi) works for Dharmalingam (S. V. Ranga Rao) who is one of the three VIPs in the township who roam as noble citizens but perform all sorts of crime for money.
The tension ripes when Durai contests the municipal elections and uses his powers to supress the trio; Dharmalingam, Aalavandar (S.A.Ashokan) and Punniyakodi (K. A. Thangavelu). They kidnap his brother, Muthaiah. Now the rest of the story shows how Durai takes his revenge and makes them reveal their crimes from their own mouths.
