About the movie
Hallo is the story of Sivaraman, an alcoholic lawyer who has no motive in life. But being a brilliant lawyer he is attached to his fulfilling work. A bottle is what he craves and lives for. His friend Chandy takes the responsibility to take care of him whenever he looses control of himself after getting drunk. Chandy's business is of illicit brewing of alcohol.
One fine day Sivaraman gets a call which is not for him but will change is life immensely and may be also give him a motive to live for.
Parvaty who is from a rich 'marwari' family is kidnapped and by mistake dials the wrong number which is actually is of Sivaraman. What he finds out in attempt to save the girl is the rest of the story.
Rafi - Mecartin, the director duo for the first time join hands with superstar Mohanlal. The film is comical suspense thriller. The first half is of complete humor with master Mohanlal at work and the second half devotes it self to the thrill of him ascertaining the actual criminal system of kidnapping.
