SYNOPSIS
When two souls meet, they are united and that connection lasts forever. A seemingly ordinary boy and girl meet and are instantly drawn to each other in an inexplicable way. Shiv is an easy come-easy go Punjabi from Amritsar, Saira is a beautiful, quirky, slightly odd chocolatier, who has strange dreams. When they meet in her chocolate shop in Budapest, there is an electric connection sparked between them. As a beautiful relationship builds and they fall in love with each other, we are lead to see why.

Sushant Singh Rajput is a fine actor but lacks the casual charm required to make the self-important Shiv lovable. Jim Sarbhs dialogue delivery is painfully awkward; he doesn`t have the gravitas required for spouting those evil-genius kind of lines in Hindi. Kriti Sanon surprises. Raabta being Dinesh Vijans directoial debut has been promoted extensively. The film has traces of resemblance to his previous productions like Cocktail, in terms of modern day relationship portrayal. Sushant and Kriti have good chemistry together and some of their early scenes are fun. But theyre not playing particularly likeable characters so its hard to care for what happens to these people beyond a point.
