This movie echoes the sentiment of the youth of today. Dhanush stars as Raghuvaran, an young man whose life is going nowhere.
Living his life as an unemployed youth, he faces trials and tribulations. His father continues to rebuke him and chastises his life choices. The only support in his life comes from his mother and Shalini, the girl-next-door played by Amala Paul.
