About the movie
The movie revolves around main protagonists Virendra Chavan (Ajay Devgan) and Jai Ranade (Prashant Raj) are childhood buddies, and are affectionately called as Jai and Veeru. Veeru worked as personal bodyguard for local politician Sharad Patil. When Patil was convicted in a scam case and sent to prison, Veeru loses his job. It prompted him to head to Mumbai, where his buddy Jai turns up. In quest of capturing Shambhu, the inspector Ranveer comes in touch with Jai and Veeru. They are baffled by Shambhus criminal record. But they promise Inspector Ranveer (Mohanlal) to do their best, as they still have good conscience left in them. In his quest for capturing Shambhu, he gets entangled in the deadly trap set up for Shambhu. They eventually manage to get hold of Shambhu with fortitude. But still they had to go back to jail. When Inspector Ranveer needs Gabbar Singh arrested or dead, he puts up bounty on his head. Jai and Veeru name come into his mind as the only men who have courage to capture Gabbar for avenging his personal enmity.
