About the movie
Aman (Sanjay Dutt) is a lame orphan who is adopted by a wealthy family. Their son Akash (Salman Khan) and Aman grow up as brothers. Akash is a womaniser whereas Aman turns to writing poems with the pen name Sagar. One of Aman`s female fans Pooja Saxena (Madhuri Dixit) corresponds with Sagar. Akash meets her and falls in love at first sight. Aman asks Akash to pose as Sagar. Thus Pooja and Akash fall in love with each other.
Meanwhile, Akash discovers that Aman loves Pooja and he is the real Sagar and confronts him. Pooja witnesses the confrontation and goes away, upset with both of them.
