About the movie
Kingkor is a young boy from a Satra in Assam, deeply connected to the traditional dance and music inspired by Srimanta Sankardev's Neo-Vaishnavite movement, which has a 550-year-old legacy. Although he is rooted in these traditions, Kingkor has a modern outlook on life. He takes it upon himself to fight against the issue of illegal immigrants in his homeland. However, he is torn between the teachings of non-violence that he has learned and his natural intolerance for injustice. This inner conflict shapes his journey as he navigates between tradition and his sense of duty.
