About the movie
Based on Ravindranath Tagore`s short story `Drushtidaan`, the film Taptapadi is a tale of love, devotion and sacrifice based in pre-independence era. The story revolves around the life of couple and the trials and tribulations they have to go through. The societal pressure they have to endure. Will the marriage of this couple survive the blisters inflicted by the society or will they give in to the pressure forms the story of the film.
