The Lotus Pond is feature film by Telugu Film-maker A L Nitin Kumar. The movie is the first-ever children's film to be shot at a height of 14,000 feet in the Himalayas. The Lotus Pond is the story of two 10-year old kids, studying in a boarding school near the foothills of the Himalayas. One day the kids hear a story about the existence of ''The Lotus Pond'' in the higher Himalayas, and they decide to run away from their school in its search. The movie depicts the ensuing adventures, experiences and challenges the kids face as they try to make their way to ''The Lotus Pond''. The entire movie unfolds in a positive, encouraging and cheerful note amongst the verdant and enchantingly beautiful locales of the Himalayas. The movie shall enthrall both children and adults alike.
